Green Thumb Tree Specialists owner, Riley Sheldrick, was born and raised in Russell Ontario where he developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit. This thirst for knowledge led him to leave his career in carpentry in 2018 to start a business in the arboricultural field. With a ladder, a
chainsaw and a rented truck, Riley performed various tree removals and pruning jobs until he could afford his first bucket truck.

From there, business snowballed by adding crew members, including Riley’s partner Emily in 2020. The pair have since worked together to support a strong, knowledgeable crew who can make any tree job possible.
